The Invincible Brain

The Invincible Brain

The Clinically Proven Plan to Age-Proof Your Brain and Stay Sharp for Life

Dr. Majid Fotuhi, MD, PhD, world renowned neurologist and adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins teaches readers how to understand human intelligence, brain health, and age-related cognitive decline. Supported by peer-reviewed, targeted lifestyle changes, 80% of patients following Dr. Fotuhi’s 12-week program achieved exceptional improvements in memory, focus, and other cognitive functions. In elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment, MRIs show a 3% increase in the volume of the hippocampus, the key brain region for learning and memory.

Quotes:

Dr. Majid Fotuhi does something rare in brain health—he brings rigor, optimism, and practicality into the same conversation. The Invincible Brain clearly shows that cognitive decline is not an inevitable consequence of aging, but a modifiable state driven largely by lifestyle, vascular, and metabolic factors. This book empowers patients and clinicians alike with a science-based, hopeful framework for building true cognitive resilience. – Robert Lufkin, MD, New York Times bestselling author, Lies I Taught in Medical School

Dr. Fotuhi is a consummate educator and writer; in the last three decades, his teaching has made even the most difficult and arcane neurobiology become not only accessible, but also fun and exciting. Amongst the Harvard Medical students (who can be a very tough audience, indeed!), he has garnered well over a generation of enthusiastic fans. – Richard Mitchell, MD, PhD, Lawrence J. Henderson Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School

Fotuhi has firmly established himself as one of the most important voices in the country when it comes to Alzheimer’s disease. – Sanjay Gupta, MD, Neurosurgeon, Emory University, CNN Contributor
