About the Author
Melissa Bernstein, PhD, RD, LD, is an assistant professor in the Nutrition Department at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Dr. Bernstein has contributed to and authored numerous textbook chapters and peer–reviewed journal publications on the topics of nutrition for Older Adults.
Ann Luggen, PhD, GNP has been a professional nurse for 33 years and a gerontology specialist for 12 years. She has taught gerontology in the masters program at Northern Kentucky University, worked as a geriatric NP at Evercare, and has a small practice. She edited/authored the first gerontological certification nursing book and also published a book preparing nurse practitioners for gerontological certification.
