Why we chose this book

At first glance the topic looks like nutrition 101, but in fact, the book is loaded with practical advice, nutrition guidelines and preparation ideas. We've loaned this book to a friend with TMJ and used information from it for my dad in the nursing home--he had stopped eating but he enjoyed pureed foods--it was the chewing he couldn't handle.
